Club 500 – Breaffy GAA Development Draw
/in Latest NewsThe Development draw has now concluded. We have given away over €14,000 and all the money made will be going towards club developments such as a scoreboard in Ballyheane and a secure gym in Breaffy.
Breaffy GAA are pleased to announce the launch of the Club Breaffy Development Draw which will have a minimum monthly prize of €1,000.
Since 1953 Breaffy GAA has been at the heart of sporting life in the area. The club has ambitious new development plans which include a new gym, floodlights and upgrading the clubhouse with other exciting initiatives to follow. This investment will ensure that our teams of all age groups continue to have access to top class coaching and facilities.
The first draw will be on Friday August 27th and will see two lucky winners each receive a €1,000 prize.
All funds raised by the draw will be used exclusively for new developments and investments (separate to existing day to day expenses).

/in Latest NewsBreaffy GAA Club is pleased to announce the appointment of a management team for the senior football squad for a period of three years. The team consists of Konrad Coghill, Cliff Sheridan, Eugene Caulfield, Gerry Jennings and Barry Jordan. The Club wishes all managers and players every enjoyment and much success for the years ahead.
Breaffy GAA Club Lights Up in partnership with Operation Transformation
/in Latest NewsBreaffy GAA Club has once again registered for ‘Ireland Lights Up’ and is encouraging the communities of Breaffy and Ballyheane to get out and get active with us on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 7-9pm. The club’s two pitches will be lit up as part of the GAA’s popular walking initiative in partnership with RTE’s Operation Transformation and Get Ireland Walking.
From Wednesday January 12 until March 2 Breaffy pitch will be flood lit on Wednesday nights from 7-9pm while it will be Ballyheane’s turn on Tuesday nights at the same time.
Breaffy GAA Club has also signed up for the Irish Life GAA Health Clubs Steps Challenge via the MyLIfe App.
The MyLife Every Step Counts Challenge is encouraging clubs and their members to collectively walk 4,000 kilometres which is approximately the distance around Ireland. The challenge will commence on January 12 and run for five weeks until midnight on February 16. The challenge will be split across the four provinces with each club that reaches the target included in a prize draw.

Get your walking shoes on and come and join us in Breaffy and Ballyheane on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from January 12 to March 2 in partnership with Operation Transformation and Get Ireland Walking.
