Breaffy GAA Club Lights Up in partnership with Operation Transformation
Breaffy GAA Club has once again registered for ‘Ireland Lights Up’ and is encouraging the communities of Breaffy and Ballyheane to get out and get active with us on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 7-9pm. The club’s two pitches will be lit up as part of the GAA’s popular walking initiative in partnership with RTE’s Operation Transformation and Get Ireland Walking.
From Wednesday January 12 until March 2 Breaffy pitch will be flood lit on Wednesday nights from 7-9pm while it will be Ballyheane’s turn on Tuesday nights at the same time.
Breaffy GAA Club has also signed up for the Irish Life GAA Health Clubs Steps Challenge via the MyLIfe App.
The MyLife Every Step Counts Challenge is encouraging clubs and their members to collectively walk 4,000 kilometres which is approximately the distance around Ireland. The challenge will commence on January 12 and run for five weeks until midnight on February 16. The challenge will be split across the four provinces with each club that reaches the target included in a prize draw.
To participate simply download the MyLife app and sign up for the challenge under the social link on the app.
