St. Stephen’s Day Fundraising Blitz

Over Christmas we hosted the first of what will hopefully become an annual Breaffy GAA St. Stephen’s Day fundraising blitz between senior players past and present. Four teams of 11-a-side battled it out over the course of the day to see who would be crowned champions. All funds raised on the day were in support of the David Gavin Fund.
Competition was high with teams divided from young to old. In the end experience told with the over 30’s team consisting of club legends such as Declan Jennings and David Cusack rolling back the years to take the title.
In all 55 players togged out on the day and joined in the celebrations which followed in the clubhouse. We thank all who were there to take part and those who came along to support for generously contributing to the David Gavin Fund, a cause very close to all our hearts.
